Amazon launched its new Kindle Voyage E-reader device recently – a Next-Gen Paperwhite Display boasting the Highest-Resolution, Highest Contrast, New Adaptive Front Light, Reimagined Page Turns, and Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + Free 3G capabilities.
And it doesn’t sound too shabby. The Voyage, Amazon’s thinnest Kindle ever, features a 6 inch high resolution 300 ppi display, reimagined page turns (PagePress enables you to turn the page without lifting a finger), a new adaptive front light for ideal brightness, day or night, and longer battery life lasting weeks, not hours. Best Buy Customers are currently giving it a 4.8 (out of 5) star rating.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that it’s probably now going to be the best way to download and read my book: Free Love – True Stories of Love and Lust on the Internet from Amazon (on sale now for only $0.99). You’ll have to let me know.
The new Kindle Voyage costs between $199 – $289 depending on whether you like ads and slow downloads or not, and is expected to ship in the next 5 to 7 weeks – so you won’t get it by Christmas, but maybe by Groundhog Day. So you won’t get it by Christmas, but maybe by Groundhog Day.
