Google is commemorating Earth Day, the annual day for everyone to try really really hard to not fuck up the planet any more than it already is, with an animated doodle showing a cycle of all four seasons that’s worth checking out.
Earth Day is an annual holiday (now 43 years old), celebrated on April 22, held worldwide to respect nature and the environment and to demonstrate support for environmental protection.
If you live in the Bay Area and would like to do more than just hugging a few trees and kicking a few tires on a Volt (you can do that here any day) before heading home and turning off your lights for an hour, About.com San Francisco has compiled a list of SF Bay Area events and activities for Earth Day 2013. You can also Google search for more local events closer to you after you’ve been entertained by the doodle.
Personally I’m getting more excited about the upcoming 8th of May holiday. Stay tuned…
