Have you been on the Amazon.com site today? If you visit the home page you’ll see the new iPad mini featured in an ad — but it’s not what you might think.
Amazon takes a jab at Apple’s new tablet and compares it to the Kindle Fire HD. The top of the ad displays a quote from Gizmodo, which portrays the iPad mini in an unflattering light, followed by a features and price comparison:
“…your [Apple’s] 7.9-inch tablet has far fewer pixels than the competing 7-inch tablets! You’re cramming a worse screen in there, charging more, and accusing others of compromise? Ballsy.”
Ballsy advertising too. I love it.
